Happy Short Week!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! We were over in Ft. Lauderdale for a close friend's wedding. Both the rehearsal and wedding/reception were at the Hyatt at Pier 66. Great venue and wonderful place to stay. After an amazing rehearsal dinner on Saturday night, I got up and headed to the gym. (Let's just say the rehearsal was a little too much fun...not many people were in the gym with me.) I judge most hotels by the quality of the treadmill. I was pleased to find great amenities and multiple good 'mills. 

Followed my 5 mile workout with a frittata and mimosas.

The whole ceremony was absolutely gorgeous. I am so thankful the beautiful bride and groom allowed us to be part of their big day!

Two weeks from today we officially start marathon training. My back has been a little achey so I am continuing to lay off heavy lifting and taking it (a little easy). Today is day 2 off, which basically marks the last time I will have back to back rest days until October (God willing). Scary, but badass. 

Also, we have some more crazy weekends coming up but I've put together some good recipes I can't wait to share in the next few weeks.
